Food Deliveries

LINK's Food Program is our primary mission and through it we supply food to people within the Herndon and Sterling, Virginia communities. LINK delivers Tuesday through Fridays (4pm - 8pm) and Saturdays (1pm - 4pm). In 2023, LINK delivered to 3,900+ families and provided $156,000+ in grocery gift cards.  Note: LINK no longer delivers to Ashburn or provides grocery gift cards after June 30, 2024.

Clients picking food during holiday distributions

Holiday Distributions

Every year our goal is to provide each family with additional Holiday help. In prior years, we provided 3 to 5 days of non-perishable food, a voucher for coats and warm clothing, gifts for children 16 and under, and grocery gift cards (as funds allow).

Financial Assistance

Partnered with Fairfax County Coordinated Services Planning and Loudoun Cares, LINK provides financial assistance for utilities and rent to prevent service disconnection and eviction.

Volunteers manning tables at Mobile Food Pantry

Mobile Food Pantry

Every second Tuesday of the month, LINK hosts a Mobile Food Pantry in the rear parking lot of Christ the Redeemer Church, located at 46833 Harry Byrd Highway, Sterling. The event takes place from 9am until all food has been distributed.  The start time varies based on the delivery arrival. The food, generously donated by the Capital Area Food Bank, typically includes vegetables, fruits, and canned goods. There are no eligibility restrictions; all individuals who attend are welcome to receive food.
