 Who Can Receive a Basket?

The intentions of this program are to reach out to those truly in need in the Herndon, Sterling, and Ashburn areas of Northern Virginia. Like any other charitable organization, our resources are limited, therefore, we must set limits. However, LINK does not discreminate based on race, religion, sex, or crede.

Early in the program, LINK will estimate the level of internal and external support available for the program. Internally within LINK, and externally from the community. After making this estimate, a maximum number of families will be set. Then applications will be considered on a first come, first served basis.

If the client is being served by any other Holiday Program, LINK will not accept the application. We work very closely with other charities with similar programs to ensure that clients are not served by multiple charities.
