How to Apply to Receive a Basket
There are two main methods to apply to receive food from LINK's Holiday
Food Basket Program.
Most of our client applications are received from Social Workers.
Loudoun County, Fairfax County, and Public School Social Workers should
input client applications by
sending an email with an attached EXCEL spreadsheet to the Overall
Program Coordinator. If you fulfill one of these functions and have not
received the EXCEL template from LINK, please send an email to
HolidayFoodBasket@LINKAgainstHunger.org.
A secondary method is to call LINK at 703 437-4409. This number will be
dedicated to receiving applications for Holiday Food Baskets. Early in
October, an answering system will be connected to this number to
allow clients wishing to receive a basket to leave their name and
telephone number. A LINK volunteer will contact them to discuss the
application.
Information about families in need of assistance can also be received
from Churches and other organizations.
