LINK Financial Assistance
During the year, when LINK has enough funding to support projected demand, any excess funds may be used for emergency financial assistance to individual families referred by a social worker or LINK sponsored church clergy. Financial assistance is provided by LINK through:

Fairfax County Coordinated Services Planning for qualified people in the Herndon area of Fairfax County. They can be reached at 703 222-0880. and,

Loudoun Cares for qualified people in the eastern part of Loudoun County
They can be reached at 703 669-4636

INDIVIDUALS NEEDING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE ARE REQUESTED TO CONTACT THE COUNTY AGENCY FOR THE AREA IN WHICH THEY RESIDE. PLEASE DO NOT CALL LINK DIRECTLY. These organizations have trained personnel to screen for qualified candidates and can assure that people first meet LINK's specific criteria before distributing LINK funds.  And, by working through these agencies, funds from other local charities might be available.

Most of the funding provided through these two financial assistance organizations are for utility costs, prescriptions and housing (rent).
